COBALZ announced today that it is actively engaged in thiolatocobalamin research in collaboration with Kent State University and the University of Chester

Thiolatocobalamins are a class of Vitamin B12 compounds with a cobalt-sulphur bond

COBALZ has patented the use of thiolatocobalamins for treating functional B12 deficiency; functional B12 deficiency arises in several diseases of ageing

Thiolatocobalamins include glutathionylcobalamin (GS-B12) and the novel compound  N-acetylcysteinylcobalamin (NAC-B12)

COBALZ anticipates that this research will lead to significant advances in the treatment and prevention of many diseases of ageing, including cardiovascular disease and dementia
